Sylvia Browne

I was wondering if there was anyone out there who was interested in her work? Read her books? I just finished reading 'Past Lives, Future Healing' and I literally could not put it down. I have a copy of 'The Other Side' that I plan on reading next.

What do you think about cell memory? Is this a new theory, or has it been studied before?

Why does that name ring a bell?
And why is it ringing so loud!?

What other books did she write?

I think that she lives in San Francisco, but I could be wrong. You can find out more about Sylvia at her website.

She's written 3 books that I know of. The Other Side and Back, Life On The Other Side, and Past Lives Future Healing. She's also apeared on talk shows like Oprah and Montel Williams. She has quite a following, she's a psychic teacher.

Ah... I read Life on the Other Side a couple years ago, good stuff.
Something interesting about Sylvia and the Mayan Calender

Ancient knowledge. Has been studied before.

I've seen her a few times on Montel..

about psychics and fraud.. it's like Jonas Nightengale
in the movie Leap Of Faith.. does it matter if it's real or not, if
it gets the job done ? Sylvia gets the job done..

What "job" are you talking about getting done? Whether it's real or not matters to me... at least to some degree. That is if I'm basing the belief or whatever in my reality.
I have places for other things, such as fantasy and hope. And though those places are important in my life, I would definately want to keep them seperate, for the most part, from my reality.

Is Sylvia Brown that middle aged to older white woman with the blond hair? I guess I could check the info, but if that's her I don't want to spend much time on it. That woman irritates me... Maybe if I hadn't seen her on Oprah it wouldn't be a problem. (Oprah, who has also brought us such pearls of wisdom as the Ecstacy expose... you may have seen it.)

So true...
I really like this woman a lot.  She reminds me of Linda Goodman.  She has faith in herself first and foremost and her goal is help others.  She's a healer.  Weather or not you believe that what she is doing is a real, it's healing other people and making them happy, and there's nothing wrong with that!

Jesus was a man. Slyvia believes some primitive "son of god" crap... if she was a real psychic, shed know jesus is a scam!

This is why I don't seem to fit in anywhere... I'm too weird for the regular scientist types, too logical for the hippies... I question things, and that gains me acceptance. I question government, people like me. I question tv psychics, people shun me...
I put most tv psychics in the same category. Miss Cleo, this lady, that guy on "Crossing Over" (though if there was one I'd trust it would probably be him).

That said, I have a "psychic". She's cool. She lives on a farm, lives a fairly poor existance, puts no stock in any of the ideals of maintstream culture (including mainstream hippies). And she backs it up.
Man, she's so cool... Too bad she won't go on tv so you can all see her.
