Storing fresh mushies?

I remember finding something once where someone talked about putting the mushies in a jar with a small piece of dry ice to remove the oxygen. How long will they keep this way? Does anyone else know of a different way? AF would only like to keep them fresh for a few days. He prefers them that way, however he never goes threw the trouble.

they will stay fresh in a refigerator for a few days.

I'm pretty sure the longest you can keep shrooms fresh for is seven days.
