anybody ever seen claypool's whamola?

his whamola is a one stringed bass with a handle that can make crazy sounds that he plays with a drumstick, usually during a drum solo with primus or when hes w/ frog brigade/oysterhead. i saw him play it live for the first time (on dvd because i stayed at my apt with two friends who stayed with me since i was too sick to go see the new deal) last night while wearing a monkey mask, and it was sick. the dvd was hallucino-genetics if anybody was wondering. heres some pictures...

The whamola is preety sweet for awhile but its novelty wears off preety fast.

Les has a habit of busting it out like clock work at most every show he plays at.

Les didn't build the Whamola, two guys gave it too him after a show one night and then split.

I don't think he even knows who built it.

ive heard from people that he trips almost every show he plays and then just sits by himself in a room after the show to finish the trip... do you know if thats true pillow?

another thing i wouldnt doubt...

i would not put it past les. but still i dont want to go beliving things simply because they sound badass

He'll come out and socialize a little bit with the fans, normally have a beer or two. Its hard to tell if he's tripping or not because hes a preety weird guy even when hes not on drugs.

I was at a frog brigade concert, at the house of blues, Orlando, FL and he pulled it out and I was trippin off of how unexpected it was... then yeah when I saw oysterhead he had it then.

All what you hear you know... its not always true, so as I wouldn't put it past Les to drop a few hits once in a while, I don't think he trips out at every show!

Maybe back in the old primus days, did he trip balls every night.
