That Claypool Lennon Delerium
    #23317903 -

God i love Claypool

Such a wicked artist.
Bass like no other.
Im getting psyched up to see him and Lennon soon.

Anyone else?

Should be awesome he collabs great with everyone.
The album "Monolith of Phobos" came out much better than even expected for two guys who dont really have to try.

One review i r3ad on it said it sounded like Claypool and Lennon were sitting around drinking wine and eating fungus while in the studio.

Haha! Either bravo and the couple shows they played so far seemed killer and they do some hellashish encore covers.

Imagine a beatles meledy twisted and funked up on Les's bass ahhhh.

Have you got the funk?

Sorry
John Lennon is dead
Hhis and yoko onos son Sean Lennon is a pretty skilled guitarist.
He has a sort of jazz psychedelia tone with claypool.
I guess hes dabbled for years in the Indy Pop scene.....

Never really "had" to do anything obviously riding off his dad and mums legacy, but i feel he has made a name for himself somewhat by himself...

Im just glad to see some beatles licks Claypoold into the next dimension.

Ooooh, saw primus on the frizzlefry, seas of cheese, pork soda, and brown album tours. way back in the 80's and 90's, last time was the lolpalooza in Dallas where they headlined.

Caught these guys at Bonnaroo. There was a storm that rolled through and they had to 'evacuate' the concert grounds for all the stages and tell people to go back to camp. There was definitely a big thunderstorm flying overhead, but no rain. They weren't stressing people leaving too hard though, so me and a buddy went to the Claypool Lennon Delerium stage to get a good spot, as this was one of the bands I was most excited to see.

They started about an hour late because of the hiatus, but played the full set (I think everyone who played that night played their full sets).

Really awesome show. If anyone reading this gets the chance to check em out, you should definitely do so. No telling if they'll be touring a year from now or stay together really. Might be a temporary project. Really great music though. I jammed harder to them than most of the other acts. Such a good show, such a solid album. I'mma definitely check out another show by them when I get the opportunity. Was the first time I was able to check out Les Claypool in a live show, dude's so on point as a bassist live it's ridiculous.

They covered Tomorrow Never Knows by the Beatles and I got goosebumps during it. They also played Southbound Pachyderm by Primus.

Some other songs off their album (better recordings):

The Claypool Lennon Delirium - Ohmerica

The Claypool Lennon Delirium - Oxycontin Girl

The Claypool Lennon Delirium - Boomerang Baby

There is not a single bad song on the entire album.
