KS Cubes 2005 season * 1
    #4971906 -

Now that the season is over and there is little chance
of anybody discovering my location, I am posting some
of my finds from late spring / early summer. The entire
grounds are manured and EXTREMELY colonized. There were
too many cubensis to be found!!! It was like walking on
a giant casing!

I hope you enjoy viewing these extraordinary fruitings!

georgeM PM'd me regarding cluing Kansas University to this
location for further study. I think the horses brought to
this area were stabled in the Gulf Coast and the spores were
transported by the equine vector. I also believe the climatic
changes in the Midwest make it possible for this particular
mycelium to survive the mild winters here.

Yes georgeM, I will be contacting KU prior to next season.
Anno has been expecting a spore print. I thought Nomadette
had sent it and I found out to the contrary yesterday. It
is going in the mail this weekend, Anno. I had other spore
prints, however they were misplaced in a move. I hope I can
find them soon.

Anyway, hope you all enjoy the pics  :sun:

That's an amazing spot. One of the best hunting spots I have ever seen and it's not in a state I would suspect.  Gotta give you 5 for that.

How was the potency? A tenth of that big one would do it.
