Free internet access from my roof

#4965228 - 11/21/05 07:45 PM (20 years, 10 months ago)

The roof of the little house my wife I and rent has a deck on it. A friend brought her laptop over and from our deck there are two, sometimes three different WiFi signals available from the internet. God bless people who don't know about network security.

I am on my roofdeck right now, checking email and doing a little surfing. When my wife gets home we'll drink some sake, smoke a bowl and watch the sun set into the Pacific. Life is good

Some towns are now making it law where if you own a Wi-fi connection it must be secure. Too bad

Sounds O.K. Still, I'd rather be in the woods.

"in times of widespread chaos and confusion, it has been the duty of more advanced human beings - artists, scientists, clowns, and philosophers - to create order. In such times as ours however, when there is too much order, too much m management, too much programming and control, it becomes the duty of superior men and women and women to fling their favorite monkey wrenches into the machinery. To relieve the repression of the human spirit, they must sow doubt and disruption"
