Bonnaroo has been going downhill the past fews years IMO.  I most likely won't attend.  And it's so damn expensive.

Bonnaroo kicks ass, but yea, to many overlaps, you have to miss half the shit you wanted to see. No other current festival offers as wide of a spectrum of music as b-roo does. I like the atmosphere of festivals like 10K much better, but the roo lineups kick ass.

'05 Bonnaroo was real nice. They had a lot of folky shit going on with Earl Scruggs, Yonder Mountain, John Prine, AKUS, and Keller Williams. And then there was the Allman Brothers Band, Gov't Mule, and Ratdog.

I missed a boatload of good music though due to schedule conflicts :x

Gonna hit it this summer too, and maybe some local fests too.

I was a little disapointed this past Bonnaroo. The over lap thing pissed me off (Bela and Benviento Russo Duo, Yonder and Mule). It was my first bonnaroo and didnt care for the camping set up too much. My site was way the fuck away from all the stages. Wouldnt it make more sense to put the stages in the middle rather than on one end of the site. DBT and TLG were sweet I got to see them for the first time. And of course Panic (probably the only reason I went). But it was a good time overall.

There's a whole street of head shops, we called it Shakedown Street, and that was a trip after eating a mushroom chocolate.  Walking to the stage past all those crazy people... far out.

Did you guys try the garlic grilled cheese stand?  That shit was scrumdidiliumptoins

I'm definitely going, I signed the five year contract. Always a good time, despite the various obstacles. More than a good time, actually. A freakin awesome weekend, almost the highlight of the year! Bonnaroo!

Bonnaroo was badass,by sunday night our tent was on an island of grass surrounded by knee deep trenches of mud from the tractors pulling cars out all weekend.I didn't leave until late monday afternoon. We drove around giving people rides to their cars.Found some white on white that way to!It was a great weekend, the tent neighbors were awesome. The music was top notch,I was kinda bummed that I didnt catch the whole Trey show because of the widespread panic show overlapping it saturday night. But it was a great weekend. The weather made it interesting also.

Cheers

I've never seen anybody really find the answer-- they think they have, so they stop thinking. But the job is to seek mystery, evoke mystery, plant a garden in which strange plants grow and mysteries bloom. The need for mystery is greater than the need for an answer."
