Oh brother!
    #4965273 -

A few years ago I found out that my father had a son. He was fifteen. Well, a few weeks ago I flew him out for a visit. We hit it off great. He plays the drums and I play a few instruments and write music. We meshed beautifully.

Anyway, He was here for a few weeks and the night before he left I had to go to bed early. My girlfriend and I go to bed and leave him and my sister , who is also his sister, up to talk. My sister is thirty-six and she lives with me.We share a duplex.

About Six o'clock in the morning I wake up and hear strange noises coming from the living room. My girlfriend comes back into the room from a visit to the bathroom with a horrified expression on her face. I ask her what the noise is and she tells me that my sister is having sex with our brother on the living room floor.

I overreact and go nuts. After separating them, they were so drunk they did not even know what was going on, and some screaming and hitting,my girlfriend and I leave the house. My brother left and my sister is acting like nothing happened. I don't know what to do. It makes me sick to be around her but the thought of confronting her on this makes me even more sick.

She needs to be accountable for this. Her drinking is out of control. She is older and he is barely 18. I believe she got him drunk and seduced him. I think she did some serious damage to him.

I have noone to talk to about this. My girlfriend doesn't want to be friends with my sister anymore and they were good friends. She was going to move in but now I am thinking that she probably will not. Should I disown my sister whom I love?
Everything is so messed up. I just needed to vent. Does anybody have an opinion?
Thanks for reading.

Yes I have an opinion . It's none of your business what they do. They are adult and your over reaction is a bad case of prudishness or worse. Leave them alone. It's not the end of the world if two people have sex with each other. They didn't even grow up together for gods sake. You owe them an apology. If that poor boy is traumatized it's because of your reaction.

It doesn't mean shit if they didn't grow up together...THEY ARE BLOOD.

Man, if you're telling me that you wouldn't be pissed if you found out that your sister & brother were going at it..then there must be something wrong with you..no offence.

To the author of the thread:

It is probably a good idea to have a word with your sister. I know it must be SO SO SO hard for you...it's the right thing to do though. However, if I was in your shoes..I would fuck off for a GOOD while and keep myself isolated from my sister...which is probably the not so right thing to do.

No offense taken. My advice stands. "BLOOD" :rofl2: You're being a puppet for the crap you've been fed by all the religious and moral sickness of this culture.

Leave them alone, being responsible for your own life and choices is work enough.

The fact that they were humping within earshot kind of makes it everyones business. If liquor had not been involved they probably would have found a hole to do it in and then I would not have cared, because I would not have known.
I have some rules that I live by. It keeps down the drama. Fucking family is just a tad bit out of control in my opinion.

A few options that come to mind:

1. Report the child molester to the police and get your brother counseling.
2. Mind your own business.

still none of your business. You don't even know if they were using condoms. Not all sex produces babies and there are ways to deal with unwanted pregnancy.

I hope they are using protection :undecided:

I would encourage them to stop their relationship for this reason alone...there *IS* more at stake than two adults having sex, no reason to oversimplify.

Frankly, I'm appalled that Icelander is promoting incest. It seems to me as if he is simply playing the devil's advocate just for kicks. Incest is not simply some unsubstantiated modern cultural taboo. Health/genetic issues aside, it's not mentally healthy to be unable to differentiate familial and sexual love (especially for the brother at such a young age and with hard liquor involved to boot...)

Personally, I would take the issue up with your sister first as she was the older, supposedly more responsible party involved. You need to talk with both of them, though, difficult as it may be. It seems your relationship with your brother may still be salvagable, your sister on the other hand may prove more difficult a resolution.

Yes they do.

You are the drama.

That is my point. You get drunk and screw on my living room floor and it can get pretty dramatic. The fact that they are siblings just makes it repulsive.

Depends on if they were adult or not. If not I would be much more concerened about who their partents are and what kind of upbringing they were getting. Sounds like fucked up parents to me.

So what if people want to have sex in your house and be drunk.  You just said you would freak out even if they weren't siblings. Seems a little prudish to me. Drama

What is prudish about not wanting to be awakened by sounds of your sister screwing your brother and then having to step over them to get to the bathroom?
