Hookahs and a Girl

I went to a Hookah bar last night. I do not smoke cigarettes or weed, so I was kind of leery about what to expect. I ordered lemon tobacco while my friends ordered blueberry, strawberry, and mango.

They brought out these big-ass hookahs and we started puffing away. God damn...that shit is awesome! It tastes good, it doesn't make you cough, and it gives you a nice laid back and buzzed kind of feeling (almost like a narcotic). Anybody who has not been to a hookah bar, I suggest that you go.

I met a girl at this place. I can't believe it, but she seems perfect (I am REALLY picky when it comes to women). Most of the girls that I meet are terribly flawed so all they are good for is some sex and/or casual hanging out. I got her number and hopefully something happens.

This girl seems awesome (I know...I know...famous last words). She'll probably turn out to be all fucked up like all of my former girlfriends.

I am a cynic when it comes to romance and love, but I want those things just as much as everybody else.

...Huh?  What'd you say?  I was too distracted by your avatar.

Well, this is not going to sound very profound, but she is hot and that's what made me notice her.  I had a few beers in me and a nice tobacco buzz so I said, "Fuck it!" and I went over and talked to her.  At first we talked about tobacco smoking and how I was a newbie at it.  Then we started talking about what we do and what our hobbies are.  She likes some of the same music that I do.  The second I mentioned that I play guitar she got all excited  :grin:.

I don't know...I just got this vibe off of her.  It was a vibe that said "I am not a bitchy chick who will play games, I am for real".

how much do bowls cost where you live?

i think it's something like 2 for 15 here. the dude says it's upwards of 20-25 in vegas

i only went there once and i concluded it's not for me ... i'd rather smoke herb

Well, considering that I do not smoke tobacco or marijuana nor do I do any other drugs, maybe my tolerance for "getting high" is low. I definately felt a nicotine buzz.

I can testify to this. I went through a good number of women and waited till I was 31 to find an intelligent, thoughtful woman who I though that I could spend the rest of my life with. However, after 13 years of marriage I am convinced of the truth in your words.
