do you like meshuggah?

this is a track from the new unreleased Decapitated album 'Organic Hallucinosis' they have a new singer and he gives the band a meshuggah like sound. The track doesn't grab me like the older decap albums which are more fun to listen to for me, however I can appreciate the straghtforwardness of their new sound

I liked it, but I have to say I like their singer from the past two albums much better. The part around 3:30 definitely reminded me of Meshuggah.

I hear a lot of people say that, I think its fucking great though. I used to think the same, but it just grew on me, as did every other release of theirs. They are definitely a band that needs to be listened to more than once to fully appreciate.

The singer really reminds me of the guy from Mastadon. Yes, that is no Winds of Creation, but I still look forward to the release.

Not to go off topic or anything..

but is anyone dissapointed in Opeth's newest release?


I thought I was.. but I decided I am definitely not. It rocks.
Just like I thought with Deliverance and Damnation. It takes time to grow on you.

i havn't been listening to it much lately, probably because I don't listen to opeth anymore I play along with my guitar and I don't know any of the new stuff. On Ghost Reveries I like the softer songs and part of songs which they really did a perfect job of, the vocal harmonies and melodies tie in beautifully with everything. When I want heavy Opeth I still prefer BP and MAYH.

I was for a while....but then it started to grow on me. Then I saw them play a couple tracks off it live and I've been listening to it a whole lot.

good music takes time to appreciate. If you like new music right away, chances are you will get tired of it real quick.

but I do have to say GR was up to par in Opeth standards, imo. Easily their best produced album.

I really like their new cd. Im not sure if I like it as much as some of their other stuff but I really like it.

i have liked Meshuggah for quite some time but i really got into them after i saw them live for the first time.

i have never seen a heavier live show.
