Humidity guage?

I need something to measure the humidity in my terranium and I'm pretty sure that it's called a humidity gauge. Everywhere I've gone doesn't seem to have one or know what it is. Where should I go to find on?

Unless you're a bulk grower, a simple reptile cage hygrometer should suffice. They can be found at the local pet shop for about four bucks. A cheap and effective alternative to expensive ($30) humidity gauges. Those are justifiable for set-ups larger than a bread box, or there abouts.

Do you get the better 30$ ones at the petshop as well? Prob worth it for better acuracy

I picked up this cool little thing that looks like a clock but its got a thermometer and a humidity gauge on it. It was only 4.95$ Canadian. I found it while looking for a thermometer at Canadian Tire. I don't know what to compare the store with one you would have in the US, but its sorta like HomeDepot/Walmart put together.

Someone else had posted this earlier.
Radio Shack sells Thermo - Hygrometer Part # 63-1031.
Its on sale for $19.95 right now. I just picked one up a few days ago. Monitors temperature and humidity. Seems to be pretty accurate. Just my 2 cents worth.

FatSean... if thats the one with the black casing, and clear plastic front with grey background behind the dials... I bought two, they are both totally fucked when it comes to measuring humidity.

I looked at the very same one you described just today in Canadian Tire. Its crap. For that price, its crap. Over 85 or so rH it wont measure well. THermometer would work though.

Seems to be doing ok for me as its measuring 95 rH. I don't think its the one you guys are talking about, its got a fake wood back/top/sides with a black background for the temp./humid. dials. Well it gets the job done, I picked it up and 12 more 1/2 pint jars for under 10$. It does feel kind of cheap though.
