eating shrooms!!!!

Can I eat shrooms that i picked in a field, that were right next to some cow shit or are they poisonous? Some have white gills but most have blackish brownish gills. Thx in advance.

If they have white gills, DO NOT EAT THEM. There death caps. The gills on p.cubensis have dark purplish gills. And most native cow field shrooms will have an orange nipple. Eating shrooms next to cow poo are pretty much safe , as long as you use your head. If in doubt, dont eat them. :smile: bluhoney
