Street Legal Studded (SLS), Street Legal Unstudded (SLU), and Street Legal Unstudded-Four Wheel Drive (SLU-4)

Any original stock car able to pass NYS safety inspection for street use and meeting the general rules A through F above. SLS class uses (Department of Transportation (DOT) studded street tires. SLU class cars drive on unstudded winter DOT tires designed for the road. SLU-4 is a new class to be run in the 2006 season and includes all four-wheel, or all-wheel drive, vehicles driving unstudded tires only.
