Ya I know.. he was just saying he could beat that monster VW. It's more about the bang for the buck.. that second video I posted of that monster 1000hp mk1 they probably have around 35k in mods on the car, that thing could smoke most 100k+ sports cars. Most definitely there's much better cars out there that you can take much further, but for the cost it's pretty fucking rad. I mean let's be honest no FWD car is going to be the pinnacle of racing, that one was AWD though.. and so are those R32s.. things are pretty sick

I used to own a 2007 Chrysler sebring...
All I did was put in a lame tuner chip, cold air intake, aftermarket exhaust.
Now I got a 2010 sebring, it's a 3.5 V6, the 2007 was a 2.7 v6

bang for the buck isnt what wins races, sure, you can have a noisy little tuner car
of you use that method for building but to build something fast you start at the
asphalt and end at the asphalt in your planning, you can drop an $80k 1000hp engine
into any car but if the rest of the drive line and the suspension is a dog you wont
put that power down on the pavement and you're better off with an exhaust tip and a
giant spoiler
most 'tuners' buy dress up kits because they really have no clue what they're
doing and what the shit they are slapping on their car is really for, they're
buying anodized style and nothing more. cars that really win are purpose built,
you dont build street racer unless you're planning on only to race what ever some
other nadbag bought from an ad in the back of a tuner mag as well in which case
you may as well piss that $20k away on other worthless purchases

Loud mufflers and vehicle noises are not exclusive to college students.
Those annoying students may have had their annoying car before they ever attended college. And they may have it after they are in college.
In a similar vein, there are the bikers who storm down the street and deafen everybody when they rev their engines.
