Where can I find Datura?

Im not really crazy enough to take that shit, just wanted to know if it grows in my area.

Where the rivers of blood flow fastest it tends to sprout up.

I dont know it's native habitat, but you know why? It's because I dont trust myself to know. It's best to just avoid the knowledge leading to that temptation. I can imagine some day I get drunk and decide to try datura tea because I found one growing... and I wake up strapped to a hospital bed with people talking to me, people that have been dead for years.

If you have anything to trade, I have a some Datura Intoxica I will trade. I was going to give them away in the seed thread, but I dont have enough posts/experience.

MOD EDIT: there's no such thing as a Datura intoxica. Please check your source of it's name and if you are not sure of its name I recommend calling it Datura sp or Datura (unspecified). If you have information about the color and shape of flowers and leaves it helps a great deal. There are hyoscyamine & scopolamine dominated kinds and its very important to know which is which if someone might consider internal use.

they grow in europe, D. stramonium is a naturaly ocurring plant here in holland.

hehe, I'm only using hyperbole to demonize the plant  :tongue:

In all fairness it's a very pretty landscape item, I just worry about the effects it could have to have one so readily available. Even if you yourself never used it there's always the chance of a few high school guys taking some flowers because they dont fully understand it. And were I in those shoes I'd feel really guilty for not putting it in a more discreet location or fencing it off with chickenwire, or some such.

Man, just look around your neighbourhood, there are like 500 datura/brugmansia plants around here, only thing is I would need to wake up pretty early to sneek on someone's property and take a pod :P
