What a perfect day!
    #4896960 -

So today I start my day off by taking a walk across the city because SEPTA is on strike (for those who dont know, the main transit system for Philadelphia)At first I thought...SHIT fuck that man, but after doing it yesterday, I really enjoyed it, and for once really enjoyed the city.

At the end of my walk I get to watch just one of the 3 kids I nanny, and lucky for me, she's my favorite to watch.

Then right after that I get to the BEST part of today. NINE INCH NAILS show...
:drooling:

Does anyone else have a perfect day planned ?

Edit:  ALSO, the weather is in the high sixties low seventies, and its a generally bright and sunny day!

No, I don't have mine planned.. but it seems that life has planned the perfect day for us- its so nice out.

Where are you walking at in Philly? I was just over there a couple weeks ago visiting some of my friends at Drexel and UArts.

Like is like that, so why not relax?
Who can stop us from celebrating?

I'm walking from Temple to Elfreths Alley in Old city

I love to brag about my place of work cuz its the oldest residential neighborehood to be continuously lived in, in the USA. And I work in the oldest house on the block, built in the 1700's

I really like drexel's campus. Did you get a gander at U Penn? I think they definitly top all the campuses

...you're correct to look forward to that nine inch nails show. the sound quality, the lighting... it was badass. did you see the fragility tour in 2000? i didn't think they would have done a big amazing production like that again, but i'd be wrong. enjoy yourself man!

wait for it, wait for it...

I did not attend the fragility tour. In fact this is going to be my first NIN show ever. I've heard nothing but praise for it though, so Im beyond excited.

How was the song selection. From reading their past playlists it seems that they do a great job of not flooding you with the newest album...because I must say that their newest album didnt thrill me in the least bit

how much of a spoiler do you want?

the set list was very good, and i thought it flowed well. burn live was an unexpected pleasure.  at the phoenix show they even played a new song for the first time too. i'm sure you'll hear it tonight. and while the new album is no downward spiral, to quote meathead, "the hand that feeds sounds satisfactorily less gay when performed live." my favorite song of that show was one off the new album. beside you time live is going to blow your mind. don't be in the fucking bathroom for that one. the lights... good god!

take me with you!

p.s. after your show, check this out: http://www.echoingthesound.org/phpbbx/viewforum.php?f=17
it's a message board serving as a nin tour journal. a thread for every show with fans posting pictures, bootlegs, reviews, and setlists from the very show you attended.
