Identification help please

Hi I found this mushroom in a patch of about 60 very close together, I will do my best to describe it.

Cap: Dark Tan at top, lighter tan then black around edges

Gills: Black, then gets lighter towards center

Stem: White, feels hollow

Odour: Has no odour.

Size: Around 3.5 Inches

Than report on the color..
The longer that you let it lay the darker the print :wink:

these look incredibly similar to the mushrooms i hunted, i will post some pictures in a minute, let me just say these pictures show the shrooms very dark as they are very. to me the pictures posted above look the same, i feel they where picked in the UK, but where about? i am from merseyside. let me know if i can munch these cos i canny buy them from anywhere and im starving. well in like.

i cant upload my pictures again as they have been deleted but they are on this forum, just use the search option on my username, i think you should find then, thanks for thee help.

EDIT: also, I DIDNT KNOW THERE Was a forum for shroom identification, i will be sure from now on.

They were found in Victoria, British Colombia, Canada. The spore print has been working for about 4 hours, and appears to be black/blue/purple. Thanks for the posts! They were found in a grassy damp area of my street.

My guess(but only a guess) is a Psathyrella of some kind.
