Please help me identify these
    #4858701 -

Hi, I'm new and I could use some help identifying these mushrooms I found in a small wooded area near my apartment. The largest ones are about 3 inches tall, they have brown bell-shaped caps and they don't bruise blue. The spore prints are purplish-black (mainly black) and the gills run nearly vertical up the caps. Stems are white. I found them growing through/under dead grass beneath a pine tree. Here are some (shoddy) pics. Oh, and my location is Pullman, WA (eastside).

no, sorry. The only camera I have access to sucks. But I can assure you that the pics do show approximately what they look like. I have samples with me, so any specific questions about them I can answer.

Oddly enough, if I didnt know any better I'd say cyan pins. But there's probably another mushroom that fits that pic better. In other words, this is a preliminary diagnoses, dont take my word. After taking another look at the top pic, I dont think they could be cyans, the stripe is too skinny...?

Cannot be told for young shrooms.
I think those sterms in the top image are too long for an unopened cyan cap, or the soil had steroids in it .

the majority of the caps are open, actually.

Why are they in a bottle?
The pics might come out more clear if you could take them out.
Also you would be able to compile a description (see the guidelines post if you haven't already).
With something like that, a description is usually required anyways.

recent developments: Went back to the same spot, and this is what I found:

Anyone have any ideas as to if these are active or not?

You're not gonna find actives in Pullman. Those look like Psathyrella and that would also explain the purple sporeprint.
