You put pasteurized poo in a tub. You add colonized spawn (substrate, grain, whatever you want to call it) and mix well. Add a layer of colonized spawn to the top if you want. Cover with foil and incubate until the poo turns into a solid block of white myc (fully colonized). Incubation can be done at cooler temps then grain jars (poo generates its own heat). Then when its fully colonized, add the casing layer. Recover and incubate another 2-3 days. Patch and fruit.

You have some more reading to do. The casing layer is applied after your horse poo is completely colonized.

i do 58 qt tubs spawned 75 percent hay to 25 percent spawned dung and verm at 50/50 mix and case with an inch to 2 inch of spawned 50/50 verm poo,do all at the same time allow to get light thru out while collonizing,qp dry first flush is a nice dream.
1/2 lb by the 3rd flush,very nice dream.

the only prob using a nute casing is riping the surface off when havesting,its a cake thing ,just one big ass beautifull mush producing cake in a tub,im new here but old in the teks.

There is a Quote button next to the reply feature.

Then delete out what you don't want to Quote.
