Roadkills horse poo tek ????

I was reading this tek and have a couple simple questions.
1. After adding the casing layer do you put it back into the incubator for a few days, then into the grow chamber, or just straight into the growing chamber?
2. Is there any other steps that need to be taken in order to add straw to the manure mixture, and can the manure and the straw be pasturized together?

I know these questions....lolz

1.) yes you would put it back into the incubator...til you get some mycelium breaking through the surface of the casing layer evenly....you would patch it so you get an even pin set....don't let it overlay though.
A few strains are exceptions......Puerto Rican, South American, PESA.
these 3 strains are so aggresive that You should probably put them straight into the fruiting chamber instead of the incubator. If you do put them in the incubator you better watch them like a hawk....they will rip through a casing layer in no time.

2.) I don't add straw to my horse poo.....I don't have to..... cause the horse poo I get is very full of hay anyway.....I get some great quality poo!!!
The real key is getting dry horse poo.....either get it dry or dry it out.

How does the shit form garden stores, and places like wal-mart work?
Does that stuff have straw in it too ?
Or will adding straw not make any difference?
Oh and about how long do I usually need to leave them in the incubator for after the casing layer is applied?

straw is more succeptable to contams than poo so i would try to avoid using it
