A Few quick Reishi Questions

I have some Reishi jars that are almost fully colonized. I was wondering if it would be benificial to cold shock them, wrap them in tinfoil and then poke one small hole in the foil for the antlers to grow out of. If cold shocking is not needed, I was just going to open the jars and poke a hole with a chopstick through the 1/4" layer of verm and let the antlers grow out from there. Would either of these routes be successful?

Also... What is the optimal fruiting temp for Reishi?

take off the verm...no need for it...they will do better without it..no need for cold shock...open it up give it lots air exchange and mist it often..
