online supplies

#4875500 - 10/31/05 04:29 PM (20 years, 11 months ago)

I'm having trouble finding vermiculite at my local nurseries and hardware stores. Where would be the best place to buy some online? Also, I was wanting to buy an 8 qt. pressure cooker as well. Would buying one online or in a store be cheaper? Any information regarding online purchasing of supplies would be appreciated. Thanks.

the google search will give you all kinds of places to acquire verm. as well as about anything else you look for.
there are some shroomery sponsors that also sell verm, you could check them out as well.

I had the same problem finding verm until i simply looked under "hydroponics" in the phone book. S&H will likely be close to price of the bag of verm.

depends on your location dr
Everyone in my area has quit carrying vermiculite.

Vermiculite can also be found at a local building supply store, not for sure what it is called but it is used as some kind of insulation. Agar would be able to tell ya what it is, or you could search his posts for it, can't remember myself right now.

I had this issue. The only place that had it was LOWE'S home improvement. don't sub anything else. Hold the spores till you score the verm....trust me.
