possible to grow without sunlight?

Well I'm going to start a grow, but I won't have anywhere to put them in indirect sunlight that is also the right temperature. If I put them in indirect sunlight during pinning, it will be too cold. In pinning, and also fruiting, does it matter if your 'indirect light' source is an artificial light, such as a 15 watt incandescant near it shining on it? Is natural light really that important? Thanks alot, if sunlight is nessicary at some stage in the growing process I don't know what I'm going to have to do. Thanks!
Also, when I inject them with the syringe and allow them to turn white and let the mycelium spread, does it matter where I keep them and if theyre in light? I know when theyre pinning it matters, but right after I inject them can I just put them in a dark closet or somethin to let it spread? :~)Thx again

10 to 15 watt compact screw in type florescent - works perfect.

While you're incubating the jars... its a must to keep the jars in a pitch black area... your closet would be great. You do not want pinning to occur while still incubating.

So, does temperature matter during incubation? Or does it just have to be pitch black in any temperature?
And it's true that NO sunlight whatsoever is required as long as you have a source of indirect light??? so if I lived in a cave that had electricity for the light and the correct temperatures I could theorhetically grow in there?
