And actually, i was less of a human being before now.
I talk shit in the OTD because the OTD is for talking shit.

You'd be suprised how hospitable and friendly i really am.
I just enjoy switching social enviroments occasionally, thereby changing the way i interact with people.

Fair enough. I guess I haven't been following your posts closely enough to notice the difference. I remember when OTD was just fun, and shit-talking, while allowed, was not the norm. I guess that place has changed a lot since then.

I just like OTD because you can do anything you want, and that's exactly what's so special about it.

That kind of behaviour isn't inappropriate. It's just deserving of it's own area of discussion since some people may find it offensive.
That's a perfectly reasonable thing to do.

I change myself according to the conditions surrounding me.
To present only one facet of your personality is maladaptive.

I'm not saying it's wrong. I'm just saying it just ain't the same. I'm all for letting people do what they want in OTD, and if you like it, then more power to you.

What I don't like is that I have to choose between one forum where flaming and shock pics are forbidden and another where people post nothing but those things. It'd be nice if there was some sort of middle ground where just because something's allowed doesn't mean it's encouraged. Oh well. Enough of my ranting.

I just prefer "anything goes" comedy.

That's why some people are really entertaining on OTD, while others are just redudant because of an over-saturation of the same joke.
