I was discussing the fact that the Pub has changed from what it was originally envisioned as, and that this is going to change, by whatever measures are necessary whether they are forum-specific, site-wide, or otherwise...

Again, it's really very simple, and I'm not sure why some of you are having a hard time figuring this out. There's one standard for posting in OTD and another for posting in the Pub. Members who can't figure those boundaries out and respect them, will be dealt with. It's simple; pure and country simple...

BTW: If OTD was referred to as anything, in the post you were quoting, it was referred to as a "hypertonic-solution," not shit. Now, in your mind those two things may equate each other, but that is a personal matter, and not the subject of this discussion... :wink:

I havent been cliff diving in a while, my favorite place just got washed away too. Johnson's Shut-Ins was the shit.

m00nshine is currently vacationing in Maui. Rumor has it he got rolled by drunken natives and is currently prostituting himself in order to pay for airfare back to the mainland but he's having trouble juggling a hairon addiction. He won't be back for a long while.

that's pretty awesome. there's a rock quarry turned into a diver resort... (I promise, it's not as glamorous as it sounds--fish, sunken boats and busses, cars and trucks, all with motors removed, statues underwater... freshwater of course... you camp while you're there, and well... not glamorous) anyway... after night dive deadline we used to dive from the edges out in the deep. Made for good times.

Evolution is progressing forward not taking steps backward. What exactly is wrong with the pub? I believe the mods who have been modding the pub this past year have been doing a fine job for the most part. There are already a strict set of rules for people to conform to. What exactly do you feel is wrong and needs to be changed?

I'm just confused as to what you're trying to say here. :shrug: Are you trying to imply that people must always put on a happy face in the pub? That's just not real. If that's the case The Pub should be renamed Sesame Street. :wink:

I think OTD could only improve if more people went back. I like OTD, and frankly, both forums are a fucking mess right now. They don't know what they're supposed to be. There is no clear sense of identity for either of them right now...

As Zippos said, our membrane is busted, like a cheap condom...
