No pics displayed. Do not use spaces in your pic filename and do not exceed 125Kb in its size. The file type (filename extension) must be jpg , gif or tif format i think, i only ipload jpg. Peace, MAIA

Umm, I suggest you buy a good mushroom identification guide instead of relying on us to ID your finds from pictures. Don't get me wrong, I love good mushroom pics, but I think you'd be better off at least tentatively identifying them (narrow it down to genus if possible) before asking for help here. It'll be good for your ID skills too. Just a suggestion. Good Hunting!! DH

I completely agree! Buy Mushrooms Demystified if you want a good field guide. Joshua

Well, widely distributed, easy to find mushroom ID books such as Mushrooms Demystified, Psilocybin Mushrooms of the World and The National Audubon Society Field Guide to North American Mushrooms are 3 very good books, and between the 3 of them, there is coverage and pretty much every aspect of Psilocybes as well as encounters with most look-allikes(down to genus at least!Hehe!). As Joshua mentioned, Mushrooms Demystified has quite a few Psilocybes, such as Ps. baeocystis, Ps. cyanescens, Ps. Stuntzii and Ps. semilanceata! David Arora(Author) is primarily focused, in the book, on mushrooms that frequently grow in the PNW and the state of California. It's very, very interesting, though, as David has many stories to tell about his encounters with many of the species of mushrooms. It adds a bit of humour as well as help with finding the desired species(Primarily edible, though. Remember, edibles can be as rewarding as the Hallucinogenics! Hehe!). All in all, you really do need all 3 of those books, man! If you're really into hunting mushrooms, you should learn how to differentiate them all, rather than only being able to find the "Good Ones". Hehe! Maybe you're already got the knowledge, but I'm just trying to help, along with other Shroomerites, man! If you're really interested in purchasing the books and don't have the means of acquiring them, PM me and I might be able to help you out. Stay cool!-Levi7.
