Here's a different (and i believe more truthful) view.

It's not that the site eagerly wants this material posted.
It's that in allowing it in one place it stops it from showing up in others.
And it isn't illegal....in fact, it's much more clearly defined (legally) than the primary content of the site.

So from that aspect, there's no harm.

Also, it is pretty bloody hilarious watching reactions to shipr0n. So the opportunity for humor, as you put it, was satisfied. Even if it wasn't in the way you intended.

Bottom line, it's just pixels on a screen representing consenting adults playing with poo. If this offends you, i suggest you stick to the Pub for social interactions, as i would suggest to anyone else to whom the possibility of coming in contact with shocking and disgusting pictures is unsavory.
But don't even try and pin the "respectability" issue on one forum out of 20 some.

Besides, one user who has posted in this thread has had entheogens drive him to playing with poo, so maybe there's a link that you haven't discovered.

or perhaps posting pics of scat reduces misery for OTDers, in turn creating misery for enter?

or perhaps in fact we are the sole cause for our own misery and enter here is using otd as his scape goat, so he doesnt have to face the realization that he is responsible for his own actions and emotions. everyones so quick to point the finger, too scared to step up and face their issues.
