Cleaning glass peices

I have a glass sherlock, i have tried boiling it but all the resin wont melt off and i cant scrape it due to the odd shape. Does anyone know any other methods for cleaing glass?

Isopropyl alcohol and a pipe cleaner.

This is the best solution i could find,

fill a cup with rubbing alchohol (70% or more)
add just enough pickling salt or kosher salt that it can't all disolve

1- 2 hours soaking then wash with really really hot (the hottest you can handle) water. easy as that, gets glass clean as new
If the pipe is really dirty, there may be large chunks that get stuck in the crevices. these will break up easily by filling up the pipe with hot water and shaking it, or else using a pin to bust them up

costs about $1.00 to clean a pipe! Colors will appear a little brighter than when new, but the glass is crystal clear
works great, no effort just did it yesterday to my glass peice, looks great!
