Good cakes to Contams

My friend inoculated 36 jars. 1 didn't grow for some reason and he lost six to contams so hes got 29 left. How did you guys do the first time you grew?

the first time i grew i innoculated 20 cakes and lost two to contams. i gave my friend 9 and kept 9. mine grew and were put to good use, my friend fucked all his shit up and tried to blame it all on me. (he left the lid off his fucking styrophome terrarium)

my first try i innoculated 12 ?pint jars and had 100% success, but one of my casings didnt do so well.

my first attemt was 8 pint jars and 2 fell to contam and the rest didnt grow. my next dozen none grew. 5 months and many many many jar attempts failed. traded 3 syringes that i made from prints to a friend for 2 colonized cakes. i ate my first 3 homegrown maztecs this saturday and it was great.
