first they label san pedro as p.torch.
so i think maybe they got the labels switched, but the pic labeled as pedro doesnt even look like a torch.

they say there doing some big torch project but they're palnting pedros. these people are idiots. a bunch of fuck ups or something.

it makes me wonder if the dried torch powder they sell is legit or not.

I believe that the pictues you are speaking of are misleading because the spines have been trimmed off of the cuttings to allow for easier handling, but the ones labeled as torches do look like torches to me.

yeah maybe youre right. they do look darker than pedros now that i look again. but why would they cut all the spines off for the picture & to plant them? and theirs dont seem to have that blue coloring to them.

one thing to be sure of, the one they label as pedro is 100% not a pedro.

There are many kinds of peruvianus. Some bluer than others. Same goes with pedro. Also, I think in it's native area, bridgesii is actually referred to as San Pedro. Cactus classification is tricky enough here, most places have no idea what they're selling. A member of another forum germinated a pack of pedro seeds and got a number of different kinds. This was from a reputable cactus vendor too. Even experts have a hard time telling the differences between the different species and variations.

It's an active trich though. And if it's the same stuff they sell dry, it's surely of great potency. If you're looking for cacti to properly classify, breed, etc, (which is all great) it's not a great place to start, but neither is any entho vendor. If you're looking for a cactus for proven potency from the source, I'd think it'd be hard to do better. I mention both aspects, as I'm not sure why you were upset by the possibly misleading picture. If you think it might be because it's an inactive trich instead of pachanoi, I'm sure it's not the case.

It's ILLEGAL. It was previously posted in another thread, and I notified the mod (WiccanSeeker) who removed it. It's a verified illegal link selling products that are completely against the rules. It's not a matter of you making up your own mind, it's against forum rules. It's like deciding for yourself whether crackhookup.com is against the rules.

note: crackhookup.com is not a real site, that got shut down months ago :P
