Wednesday's Hike
    #4768029 -

A couple of Sulphur tuft mushrooms (Hypholoma fasciculare) were among the first to greet me upon my entry in the woods:

Psilocybe aeruginosa (=Stropharia aeruginosa), I looove the colours of these species:

Psilocybe semiglobata (=Stropharia semiglobata), nice and slimey:

And the only active species I came upon - Psilocybe semilanceata:

I took only this one photo of P. semilanceata because there wasn't much space in the memory card, besides I took quite a few P. semilanceata pictures last weekend (you can find the best of them here).

Panaeolus papilionaceus (note the toothlike remnants of the partial veil that cling at the margins of the caps):

I'm not quite sure about this one (some kind of Panaeolus from the Panaeolus campanulatus complex, I believe):

One of the two Fly Agarics (Amanita muscaria) I stumbled upon that day:

This Pluteus (which I was hoping to be Pluteus salicinus) was growing from decaying wood, but as it showed no bluing whatsoever, it probably is P. cervinus:

A puffball (Lycoperdon perlatum):

A birch polypore (Piptoporus betulinus, these ?tzi's polypores were growing in ABUNDANCE on the birch trees munched down by beavers):

The Toothed Jelly Fungus (Pseudohydnum gelatinosum), about which David Arora writes that it is "Edible. It is said to be fairly good with honey and cream - but what isn't?" :crazy2::

I'll probably upload some more photos when I get more upload space. Meanwhile I'd like to hear your word on these two.

These were growing on a tree stump (pine I believe, although there was no way to tell), hard and woody, 2-5 cm tall, the whiteish spore mass covering the upper parts of these fungi dispersed with the slightest air current, or when the fungi were touched:

And these dark orange ones. I didn't collect any specimens for a closer inspection, so WYSIWYG

Thanks in advance,
ivi

DH: Oh, snap! Those are definately them, thanks, DH. Do you have any idea about the orange ones? They look kind of similar to Vibrissea truncorum, but I have no idea...

Picking4Peace: I still haven't spared for a decent digicam myself  I used my friend's HP PhotoSmart R817 in manual focus mode.
