here's what they had on sporeworks about that strain, why don't you just follow their recommendations?

oh, btw, how long did it take you to recieve your order from sporeworks?

The Mazatapec strain of Psilocybe cubensis is another harvested and domesticated from the wilds of Mexico.

Mazatapec fruits often display some unique characteristics. Primordia develop into skinny, straight stalks topped by darkly tinted caramel colored caps. The caps almost never display pronounced spotting and will mature into a belted, lighter color. Fruits tend to be smaller than most, averaging 3-5 inches in height, but still fruit abundantly.

One of the most amazing characteristics of this strain is the highly rhizomorphic nature of the mycelium. The bottom pictures illustrates strong Mazatapec rhizos on agar and in a millet quart jar.

The pictures at right display Mazatapecs grown on millet and cased with a mixture of peat moss and oyster shell. Average colonization times in quart jars is 15-20 days.

Check out the Psilocybe cubensis picture gallery for more images of the Mazatapec strain and other cubensis varieties.
