ok so i bought a keg off my friend (who probably stole it) and now i need to know some things about it... ive been searching on the net to buy a tap and all of them are different.... some say the taps are made for certain types of beer like for domestic and imported beer... whenever i tap a keg its always a pain to find someone with a pump so we just use whatver we can get so does it really make a difference??
also this keg still has half of it in there so how the fuck am i going to empty it?? i dont wanna sit there pumping the keg...
btw im gonna get a lever handle instead of the wing handle cuz ive been sprayed a couple times with those fuckers..., its also an 8 in. chrome tap... with 2 hoses!!! just need to know some basics about what to do first...
ps the keg is a regular 15 gallon

step one, buy a kegerator.
step two, kegerate it.
step three, shave your left leg. twice.

Usually switch from my experience. Most places require a deposit on the keg, so I'm not real sure on how your situation is going to work out.

dude...you don't empty it out and refill it. you take it to the keg store and you trade it in for a full one. Don't be such a noob.

there wont be a deposit if you bring your own keg. just take your keg and trade it in. all you have to pay for it the beer.

What i was saying is that when you go and get a keg for the first time they get a deposit on the keg, you know like money. The whole concept of a deposit if you give some one like say 80 bucks and when you return the keg back to them they give you the 80 dollars back.
Since you have one that the origins are unknown. Just make sure it doesn't have anything that distinguishes where its from, you know what I mean?
