how 2 deal with the IRS? Non-profit
    #4713420 -

I am not sure if this is an appropriate topic for this forum. I am 27 and have been organizing a non profit corporation for about five years. I know it sounds like a long time, but I've pretty much had to learn and do everything 100% on my own. I have found people who I felt good about having on my board of directors, but they're pretty much as experienced as I am. We've all been blue collar workers all our lives and want to work, but for a real purpose, not just to stuff someone else's wallet.
We are a newly registered corporation and are seeking the help of anyone who might know how to deal with the IRS. We need to get our letter of recognition of tax exempt status. We feel that this would be a huge step toward becoming self sufficient and being able to aquire things we need to start low-income housing programs, providing jobs and career training, helping disaster victims, and anything else we can do to help.
There has been so much loss lately, in our country and around the world. We can't just sit around and watch people die, when we have more than we need . Most of us have enough that we could personally feed several families, yet they die anyway...
We will accept cash donations to help pay for services related to these endeavors, but would prefer to find someone willing to teach us how to do what we need done. We take this very seriously and hope that all of you will to. So, if you or anyone you know has experience with corporate law or financing, and might be able to help deal with uncle sam, please let us know.
Thanks for taking the time to read this message.
