Imagine a substrate ball, and imagine it is inoculated and sent into space. Now assuming all the conditions are right you will eventually end up with a mushroom ball. Tri-ppp-yyy!

As a follow up you could then have a group of astronauts passing the ball around as they dosed, then trip their balls while looking at the planet earth. Fuuuuuck yeah!

That just gave me a real good idea that sounds crazy but i think it is possible. Send the first mushroom to outer space. Have some sort of launcher for some sort of thing made up by some tech students who use the shroomery and make donations. Sort of like a rc plane launch pad flying up Then mini rocket booster hitting a mini rocket like 1 foot tall with a fresh mushroom inside and a small camera via satelite internet or some crap and film it on the shroomery as the first mushroom inspace.
