Yeah, this is probably asked alot, but oh well...

I'm looking for some suggestions for some really cool dvd's to buy... i dunno what you would classify my tastes as, but here are a few that I REALLY enjoyed:

American Beauty
Requiem for a Dream (still want to see Pi)
Fight Club
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
The Game

Just really weird, psychologically twisted, but REAL, sorts of movies, i guess... i dunno, any suggestions welcome...

if that's your criteria I'd recommend American Movie. It's very interesting, has great characters and the best part is it's all real, and it makes you think... a lot.

From what I can remember from what I've seen....

American Beauty
Memento
Dark City
Pi

I'd pick out Memento and Dark City as the most amazing and thought provoking.

Apocalypse Now

Its probably the craziest Viet Nam movie out there. Theres a scene were some guy drops acid as they float down a river at night behind enemy lines. good stuff
