God damn, I saw Eraserhead today... Must have been the second coolest movie I saw, after Dr Strangelove... started downloading Blue Velvet right away. What else do I need?
Has anyone seen that Vana Espuma movie, it sound great, but I can't find it anywhere..

Eraserhead is a true classic. Unforgettable imagery, great soundtrack. To do the soundtrack justice you need a system with some serious deep bass capability... I mean like capable of reproducing 20 hz pipe organ tones.
If you like Lynch, get Elephant Man, too.

Mulholland Drive is certainly weird but Eraserhead fucks with my mind like no other. I mean it's completely insane. Everyone I know who's seen it reacted to it very deeply. I think that's what's strange about it. You don't quite know what it means, but you have this very personal reaction to it.

PS. The dancing lady in the radiator chills me to the core.

Nicolas Cage, Laura Dern Diane Ladd (her Mother) and Harry Dean Stanton.
This is a great David Lynch film and Nicolas Cage sings two Elvis songs.
Remember he married Liza Marie for a while. Wonder if he sang Love Me Tender to her.
They say Liza's new song bad mouths Nicolas and Michael Jackson or refers tot hem somehoiw. Haven't heard it yet.

Exactly! You just can't shake the imagery for days or even weeks after seeing it. It is incredibly eery and chilling and deeply disturbing on a very visceral level. Everyone who sees it says the same thing.
A true cult classic and a textbook example of Art's ability to evoke automatic emotional responses. Lynch is a master at this, and Eraserhead is his masterpiece.
Truly a "must see" movie.

the only thing i liked about lost highway was when that creepy guy was at the party and told bill pullman to call his house because he was there.... that's all i really remember of it actually...
