I just have to post this. Very agressive colonizer. Started cotteny growth in 3 days and turned very rizomorphic on the 5th day. Dominated the whole cake on day 18 and was ready to birth on day 20. The whole dry vermiculite layer got dominated by the rizomorphic mycellium and it got to a point where the strands were starting to poke up like grass. I am very excited to see these babys fruit. Now, should I case or cake them? I've heard some bad things with PRs and cakes

I've been using both BRF+Verm and DRF+Verm. I havent had success with the DRF jars yet as the last jars contaminated on me but they were the last jars that I boiled before I got my pressure cooker and now I seem to be turning out 100% success. I'm going to try and use some birdseed and rye 1 pint and perhaps quart jars. Who knows, I dont really want to grow too many shrooms because I would have no use for them. Selling isnt my game and I only trip like one a month at the most. I like to perserve the fun. Anyways, another note on the PR jars. At points they were really rizomorphic to a point that you could see the stands in 3D, looks like a worm sticking out but its the best mycellium i've ever seen. I'm excited about the PR cakes now. I've only been fruiting GC. ralphster what growing conditions were those cakes held in?

I found these to be such an aggressive strain, that they continually overlayed any casing layer other than verm...After continual deep scratching, i let them do there thing and a got a small number of twisted fruits - they pin like crazy invirto, but cased they form lots of h.knots and pins that abhort (in my experience ofcourse:-)) I think they would perform well on standard birthed cakes...
