every syringe i've seen from sporeworks has been clear. in fact, i've never seen a syringe that wasn't like that. they always seem to work fine, so i don't think there is any need to worry. peace.

I've been a customer of sporeworks for years. Was even around when ralphster started the free spore ring and when he turned vendor. Both are reputable spore vendors. While I have never purchased spores from ralphster, I personally have always preferred sporeworks since they ship fast, have quality products and have a wider selection of medicinal & gourmet species.

could be the syringe, or could be something you did, i got both my first syringes from sporebank(yes i know), and they worked fine, i have made prints of them and now will never need to order any again, just trade from here on out. but if you know for sure you did everything right, just email em, theyll prolly send another/

Rather than raise hell, which will get you nowhere... contact Sporeworks and explain to them how you did some mycroscopy with your samples and were unable to find any viable spores. Also, tell them you are a member of The Shroomery. Give them a couple of days to reply. I'm sure they will replace your syringe... if you ask politely.
If you are still unsatisfied, take your business elsewhere next time you order spores.
The problem with raising hell is this: You sound like you are pretty new to this hobby. If you haven't ever grown anything successfully, who's to say you didn't screw something up?
While you wait for your replacement syringe, make sure your incubator is below 86 degrees. Make sure your water content in your jars is good... and save a couple cc's of spores... just in case you need to try a third time.
Look at the bright side... the jars didn't contaminate.

The jars could have contamed, and he just dont know yet. I remember back in my myco-study days, I had a set of jars that sat around forever with no noticible change. I finally decided to open them, what did i get in return you ask? A nose full of some wonderful bacterial contams! It was my fault though. My process was bad.

because the syringe is clear doesn't mean there are no spores in there, spores are micro-scopic ----- BUT if i'm paying for a syringe i want to see some fucking spores ! i have heard very good things about sporeworks , but personally ralphster is tried and true, he has the shit! but that's just me.
