The Shroomery: Bigger, Badder, Better

I can't help but keep noticing how freaking huge this site has gotten. In a few years it has gone from maybe a hundred regular posters to a couple thousand. There's a steady supply of fresh blood.. promotions working? Or it's just always worked that way. This is psychonaut headquarters. Psychedelic communal magnet. Everyone finds there way to the shroomery eventually. Some people leave.. most come back.
We even got a freaking arcade now.. how cool is that. And everything is all clean and sleek and fast. Anyone remember when the shroomery used to crash every 15 minutes and was usually slow? When there was like 6 forums. Ah the good old days. That puke orange color you love so much. the Troll Wars.. of course now we have more diversity than ever.. and shittons of people. The pub has never seen so much traffic in all of its days. We just keep growing.
Gatherings.. damn we could be our own tribe. And we're global.
I think the next logical step would be an actual physical shroomery community :smile:

They are stashed in a titanium coffer in Anno's attic.. but to get to them you have to first answer a riddle by papaver. It's dangerous, but well worth the effort.

I neglected to mention that anno's estate is guarded by a vicious pack of flesh-eating monkeys and a pair of carnivorous snarks, commanded by the overlord pgf.

We could sell shroomery gear to add money to the site. However the problem is that right now we aren't mainstream. We get a few immature little kids on here from time to time, but the majority of members are pretty responsible and have a decent head on their shoulders. When you start randomly advertising on the street, you get lots of random people coming on here. Little kids using their parents CCs and getting spores delivered is one of the things that brought PF down. Don't really want it happening to us.

Of course it would be really cool if we did have shroomwear. Maybe once you get to 1000 posts, or been here for a year, or maybe once one of the other two happened you had to be voted worthy of buying a shroomery shirt. That would be cool.
