i don't see how you can all be mad at this guy for stealing a few beers.

1) his city was just demolished
2) he has obviously had a very shitty day
3) maybe he just wants to spread the love a little bit with his fellow survivors over a healthy toast.

Yes I think they got anything substantial out in time. It's standard procedure for even a Cat 1 storm probably. Stealing from deposit boxes is fucked. There is still shit in those. Good luck getting into the vault though.

That's just idiotic.

It all boils down to simple economics.

Walmart's insurance premiums go up as a result of cashing
in HUGE on their policy.

They incur losses due to damage as well as opportunity cost
and no sales.

This affects the company's ability to continue to hire at a
natural rate and continue pay increases due to the burden
of cost. If we're lucky, this side effect is localized, if the biz
is smart, they spread it around nationally, so everyone gets
hosed.

'the man', but don't come crying to me because they decided
not to reopen your location and your out a job and you can't

last year walmart accounted for a total of 11% of the entire sales in the country, and that is a figure figured on gross income. for every dollar spent in the u.s. eleven cents went to walmart. they can give a bit back and get their store looted imho. if i was going to rob a tv, or food or anything it would be from walmart.
