Damn dude you musta had some really good shrooms............ I eat 12 grams every 3 or 4 days and I'm still waiting on an experience like that..................

I'm 18 and I have about tripped 5 times. I've never had a bad trip before, and the most I have eaten is 14 grams of homegrown PF. Me and a good buddy split an ounce and just talked all night in the woods, as hard as it is converting your thoughts to words is while tripping. I love shoorms. The first time I tried them I decided I was going to grow them. It was such an uplifting experience. Anyway I guess shooms affect people very individually. They aren't for everybody, but I feel I have a very good sense of myself. I personally don't think you can overdose. You just have to know how much you are prepared for at the time. But then again it's never happened too me so what do I know. I suppose this is in the wrong forum but it is interesting to hear other peoples experiences with the great fungus.

Who the hell would go from 5g to 12g or worse still from 5 to 28g ? :) I wonder if they were fully dried.
Not to crap on what you're saying but goddman thats a silly idea. Still, sounds like a cool drug story you can tell people, certainly beats the general alcohol geek stories about how they passed out and don't remember anything. I pity those fools.
Now if only they could engineer shrooms so I woke up in bed with a pretty lady I've never seen before!.. my life would be complete.
Not sure why this is in cultivation but who cares.. interesting post nonetheless.
Btw, this is RE: shroomnewb, not power.. I hate this RE stuff, If I wish to address somebody I will put their name in my post.

hehe, ok you ate a lot of shrooms, not once but twice. I would say around 3.5g (dry P.cubenus) is a nice comfortable visual experience. Don't try to be _the man_ anymore with shrooms.
And to everyone else: Don't let this guy's experiences scare you. He ate way more than he ought to have and didn't have a sitter to keep the enviroment safe.
Moral: Don't go eating too many shrooms and expect it to be fun.

I think I may be ultra sensitive to psilocybin/psilocin, but a while back I ate only a couple of grams of mushrooms if that( 3ish bulbous dried stems and a cap or something and for a period of time totally lost the ability to speak or understand english. the voices of my acquaintances transformed into a cacophony of maniacal laughter and the world and the things it contained were utterly uninterpretable to myself. I curled up inside of my own mind and imagined the world as it would be if my existance was completely obliterated.... certainly food for thought. although this was an intense experience, not altogether bad, not altogether good. high-level trips can be worth while for introspection, you just have to be stable enough to handle your reality being turned inside out.

Anything is dangerous in excessive amounts. Its too bad you had to fins out the hard way. Lucky i came of age in an eviorment full of wisdom in this realm,so i never had a bad expericence with shrooms.

It's wierd because when the Mayans and most other native cultures used mushrooms they used doses that would seem insane to us now. I wonder where the time came when it went from a couple ounces to 3.5 grams dried?

You should only eat shrooms evey one to two weeks for the full effects.
