what is the best strain for cakes? i want volume and quality
like i was thinkin bout GT or cambodian
i dont really feel like pickin 100s of tiny lil ones, but i want the most volume etc

there really isn't a 'best', or we'd all be growing it.
but the GT is good, better than cambos, in my opinion.

Cambos are nothing special, they grow failry good but the trip is weaker and shorter IME.

I had 8 hours of fun on 3 dry grams of Cambos, so I'd say everyone is different. Everyone will react differently based on set, setting, time of day, who knows. And everyone has opinions. Mine happens to be that most, if not all Cubensis varieties are the same. What really matters is the substrate and how you maintain the environment while you grow them.
I've had full pints of Cambos colonize in 14 days. Good, clean trip, too. And long lasting.

I wish 3 grams of the ones my cat grew did that to me, I ate them climbed up the peak and went right back down, all said and done in 3 hours(this happened more than once), the highest I went with them was 6 grams and I went wayyyy out and came right back the trip was non existent in 3 and a half hours, one other time I traded a few grams of nugs for ones that were supposadly cambos and they last around 4 hours. My expeience is limited to about 6 trips with these though and it was only 2 differenct batches.

Try the Mazatapec strain it preforms great and gives off awsome visuals and a smooth happy vibe trip last a decent while too. The Thai ks are a short trip like the cambo's I guess about 3 hours up and down...

Wow guys, I have never had that short a trip from the Cambodia Cubensis. The last time I ate them was almost a year ago.
I'm not sure why your trips were so short. Maybe your cat made a mistake along the way. Maybe I'm a cheap date. Who knows?
I'll say this, I experienced very intense visuals on the Cambos, and found the trip quite clean. But like I said, everyone is different. I've seen people totally whack out (I mean ALL THE WAY OUT) on 3 grams. Me -- I sit back and enjoy.

My cats been on a growing hiatus for sometime and he just started growing EQ's, well actually he just colonized the jars a few days ago, after that I'll have to suggest some Mazatapec's, thanks for the tip.

The best I hear for cakes is matias romero or PF they are one in the same. As far as casings they all have there own special traits and I still cannot find a favorite. Although I do really like this one PES Hawaiian. This culture is really unique almost intirely a body buzz with minor or no visuals and is very social. Its identical to extacy but without jaw grinding,
you can sleep on it and it is a very energetic happy buzz. For those days you want a buzz but dont want to trip hard in public.

im thinkin iv decided to go for the GT and hawiian for my next 2 batches. gunna use the GTs for when i want some fun :) and the Hawiians for when i juts feel like chillin out.
think these are good choices? iv never tried these 2 strains so im basically going on your guys's advice here

Wow thats almost excatly what a friend of mine said about PESA HAWAIIN. I have never tried extacey, however a close friend of mine said that the PESA HAWAIIN's that we have been sampling are a body buzz just like Extacey... in fact he mentioned this just yesterday. (on simular topic, see the recent thread here "PESA HAWAIIN SUCKS" (no real visuals). There must be some serious simularitys between this strain and an Extacey buzz...

Ive found all cubensis to be pretty low in potency no matter what the substrate (although i did get one potent frak-arse Lipa yai) - I found GTs to be slightly more potent in terms of effects other than in your body - but i found Lipa yais to be very easy to fruit, colonise and they gave by far the best yields...
