"he seems like a really nice guy though. " said Bob.

Little did Bob know that his "nice guy" next door neighbour was secretly kidnapping little children, and torturing them in a private dungeon within his basement.

Con men that are not seemingly really nice guys, fail. Charisma is a crucial element, just as with politicians and televangelists.

Get with Veritas. She needs to be the ringleader. You and her are the brains. I'm the 5th business. ( an old showbiz term, it's a bit of trivia I bet you don't know offhand)?

I really enjoy reading his ideas. He has a playful attitude about life which I cultivate in myself.

Deepcheck Ophra, is just another person to learn from. He is human so has some failings or such. Who cares, if your not intent on worshiping the guy, but just gathering info for your own trip.

He has a playful attitude about life which I cultivate in myself.
He bilks people out of millions with an endless stream of false claims of levitation, healing and perfect health. Millionaires, despite popular mythology, are generally happier than those of average means.

He has no studies to back up his claims, merely his word.

DeepSix: "If you have happy thoughts, then you make happy molecules."
There is no such thing as a happy molecule. They are indistinguishable from one another and have no emotional state.

Does he really say he levitates? I have never read the guy, but that would be a hoot if he really claims this.

You doubt my word though I have given no reason to? *sigh* I do not ever need to fabricate to make my case. Do a web search and the answer is there.

He "bilked" me for a about $120 in books over the years and they were WORTH EVERY penny and then some. I'd buy them again!

I have happy molecules! Just say that out loud and you start feeling better already. It works Great. Try it. I get a tingly rush, how bout you?

Swami, can you refer me to where he teaches one how to levitate. I never came across that. I read Quantum Healing, Ageless Body Timeless Mind, the Return of Merlin and The Seven Spiritual Laws of Parenting. I missed the levitation stuff.  I want to give that whirl. :fairy:

Ya know, this man grew up in India. If he says he saw some yogi dude levitate, how I can call a bluff. I wasn't there. I don't have to believe that either nor do I need proof if I want to believe it. I'd like to get my hands on some actual instruction and experiment with it myself.

I've put tons of his insight to work for me though. Without some of his ideas about recognizing our brain as being the greatest walking pharmacy on the planet, I never would have become the shroomless shroom head I am today.

Hahaha did you catch the one about some women who are pissed at him for getting Kundalini burn? That was a good one! There are people who don't even believe in kundalini energy and then we have people accusing Deepaks kundalini meditations of burning their nervous system?

What a crazy world we live in. Anyone having fun yet?

You say either and I say either,
You say neither and I say neither
Either, either Neither, neither
Let's call the whole thing off.

You like potato and I like potahto
You like tomato and I like tomahto
Potato, potahto, Tomato, tomahto.
Let's call the whole thing off

But oh, if we call the whole thing off
Then we must part
And oh, if we ever part, then that might break my heart

So if you like pyjamas and I like pyjahmas,
I'll wear pyjamas and give up pyajahmas
For we know we need each other so we
Better call the whole thing off
Let's call the whole thing off

A tingly rush is a self-induced emotional state. Would you care to wager that not a single chemist in the world could identify a happy molecule?

See - here's the deal: one cannot mix science and poetry at the same time and have it make any real sense. He cannot pretend his metaphors are backed by empirical evidence when they are not.
