I like Mayhem some, but they're not my favorite band. Burzum, Bathory, Emperor, Immortal and a few others are better than Mayhem in my opinion, who seem to have really gone to shit.

Their early stuff is kvlt though.  :wink:

Actually, all the BM bands have gone to shit. I mostly listen to their older music.

It's the same with Bathory, Samael, Darkthrone, Emperor...

Though I admit not all of them are on the same scale. Darkthrone actually has some half-decent new songs.

And Burzum's stopped it because guitars are for negroes and Jews, according to him. :frown:

And yeah I havent kept up with any black metal in a few years
After I heard .. grand declaration of war.. I was like... blah
I only really liked the really old emperor.. in the nightside eclipse and hordane's land w/ enslaved.
Immortal used to be ok too
