Is it ok if I use rough rice instead of brown rice

hello to everybody.
I`m a newbie looking for supplies because
I want to start growing shrooms soon.
I have looked for brown rice everywhere but it is nowhere to be found where I live.
The only rice I found is rough-rice and I would want to know if I can use it instead of brown -rice? thanx. al

I don't know what rough rice is, but I suppose it would work. Have you no health food stores in Romania?

It'll work fine as long as it wan't treated with fungisides or the like. you wont get quite the results as you would with brown rich though. I'ld use a mix of the rough rice and millet. Just a sugestion.
