Help find shrooms

I live in Colorado. What types of mushrooms grow here? When do they grow? Where do they grow? I think I found Amanita in the mountains. I would rather have someting other than Amanita. Please help. Thanks

On the shroomery side menu, go to "general info", then "mapping the mycelial network".
It should list a few species worth looking into.

I live in northern GA . Would it be easier to go out in the wood and find shrooms or just grow them I've never grown them before and I cont seem to find what I'm looking for in the woods. :eek:

when i was at the Red Rocks Phil Lesh show a while back, i was given some insane Colorado shrooms! the guy said he picked them in the area. good luck!
