Can anyone tell me the names of the 3 or so species that contain psilocybin/psilocin that grow in Colorado? Or post some pictures?

I know there are psilocybes here for a fact. I know people who pick them in colorado springs all the time. I just can't remember what they're called or what they look like . We just got some snow yesterday and this morning my yard was filled with little brown shrooms that have a bell shaped cap. I'll post a pick if I find my digital camara.

go to the home page of the shroomery and click on General Information button and look for Mapping the mycelial Network by Allen, Guzman and Gartz, and then look for Colorado. ANd no P cubensis grows in Colorado except in someones attic or basement.

There are no magic mushrooms in Colorado.
Only Amanitas'.
Sorry, no "shrooms" grow in Colorado Springs,
pure BS.

MAYBE Panaeolus papilonaceus: weak at best, useless at worst. One report of someone bringing some liberty-cap-like specimens to the festival at Telluride, apparently Paul Stamets examined these & confirmed that they were a rarity bordering on the miraculous.

Hi Rip Snort,
Sorry but Conocybe cyanopus was collected by Mycologist Alexander H,. Smith and deposited in the herbarium at the University of Michigan in the late 1970's.
And Mycologist L. R. Hesler reported Gymnopilus sapineus from Colorado in 1969.
Hesler, L.R. 1969. North American Species of Gymnopilus, Mycologia, Mem. 3. Hafner Publ. New York.
