alright I just read the other blood post and I figured I'd bring up something I was wondering about the other day.

When you take a drug our body has a chemical reaction to the substance. (hormones or peptides or something... don't let me lose ya, just go with it) So really it's not the drug we get high from but the chemicals we already have in our bodies that are released due to stimulus from the drug.

Could it be that originaly vampires got high from drinking another humans blood due to the hormones that were passing through the victims system?

And is it possible to get high from it in this manner? It doesn't seem so farfetched... our body is the biggest and most complex pharmacy in nature. (I can't remember who said that but for some reason I'm thinkin it was Bill Hicks)

I've heard a lil bit about cows that had high testosterone levels because of fear at the slaughter house also.

I bet if a vampire drank the blood of someone who was really drunk, they'd get drunk too, you know, with blood alcohol content and all that.

thatd be pretty cool lol. wouldnt they have to be like 3-4 times the legal limit though to get drunk off their blood

the legal limit is what .09% so the proof on that bottle of blood would be...

.18 proof? did I do that right

it'll take a lot of blood, so surely it would be the same with other chemicals as well?
