I think Lafayette is either kidnapped or dead... I made the mistake of reading the book and he got killed early, they found him in the back of Deputy-whats-his-name's car.  But I think he's going to be too popular a character to die, and the feet that we saw poking out of the deputies car in the show looked like a white chicks feet.

Sam is totally going to save Tara.

I hate Bill's new bitch.

If it follows the book at all, Eric should start renting Bill and Sookie out to other covens to investigate shit.

I wish someone would have taken Jason's girlfriend's body and made a vampire out of her.  That chick was crazy sexy cool.

Yeah, Bill's new bitch is annoying, but she adds a cool twist to the plot.

Lafayette can't die yet.  He's one of the best characters on there.

I like Terra's Mom, too.  She is a good actress, but her character is psycho.

Is anything going on with the Iraq war vet?  He seems shady.  He'd make a good werewolf.

I watched this show for the first time the other day after having EVERYBODY (not just the Twilight crowd) tell me how good it was.  I watched the first episode, and was very disappointed.  Maybe they just had a poor pilot, but it seems to me the premise of the show is about having sex with vampires...  how is that entertaining enough to make an entire season?

Show started well but took a severe turn downhill to a point where the badass southern vampire Bill just became another mewling gayboy twilight style vampire. And they killed the serial killer guy, who was one of the best characters. Tara doesn't develop as a character, neither does sookie, bill just slides backwards. Eh. Only good part by the end of the season was the theme song

Yeah Gastronomicus, the song is badass.  It reminds me of the Natural Born Killers soundtrack.  And BTW, I want my funk uncut.  Don't step on my funk.
